Living A Full Life

Our perspective on life is an individual concept. It is our own prerogative of choice. No two people see everything the same. Every day we exercise the privilege to live our lives by our own desires. Whether it’s right or wrong, we certainly will reap the consequences thereof. Optimizing and personalizing our ideas and feelings, we sometimes guard our heart from others.
The heart can be joyous, happy, sad, or broken. All of these feelings are real and true to life. In most cases, these emotions surface situationally. This too is our prerogative of choice as to how we deal with and manage these feelings. Everyone living has had all of these emotions of the heart; however, the broken heart is very dangerous and the most difficult to heal.
Who hasn’t had a broken heart? Often times the unhealed heart can become hardened. If this happens, this condition can leave a person in a depressed or reclusive state. The love from others, and even God, is often rejected and put to the side for another time, and sad to say, never to be revisited. Most of us, if not all, are probably guilty of this behavior.
As human as we are, we desire to have happy times in our life. And we absolutely should. It is very good to be happy though looking for it in things is not wise. Things may satisfy our longing and happiness, but it is certainly short lived. Have you ever gone shopping for hours for no particular item just to see if you could find something you like? When you’re finished shopping, you probably thought, “I didn’t need this.” Sometimes we eat knowing we’re not even hungry. Have you ever said, “I shouldn’t have eaten,” or “why did I eat all this?”
We have all tried to find happiness with things. We do this because of the longing inside. Things can never bring satisfaction. If so, it doesn’t last long. Only God can supply your longing for a full and complete life.
To live a “full life,” feed your heart with the Love of God. To live a “full life,” feed your soul by renewing your mind daily with God’s Word. To live a “full life,” feed your body healthy food, exercise and rest.
